The multitalented Pitbull pulled double duty at the American Music Awards this weekend. Not only did he serve as host of the ceremony, but also, he performed his hit "Timber" with Ke$ha. Even if the pop song isn't totally up your alley, the performance was fun, filled with strobe lights and generally everything we love about the AMAs. If you missed it or haven't watched yet, then take a look for yourself!
Forget bold hair color, glittery eye shadow, and neon lipstick; Ke$ha's 2013 Billboard Music Awards beauty look was anything but wild. Donning a neutral makeup palette and simply pretty ponytail, the songstress was almost unrecognizable. There's something to be said about low-key beauty, though. What's your take on Ke$ha's makeunder?
Sarah Jessica Parker donned a pair of bright blue shoes to hit the red carpet in Rimini, Italy, last night. She stepped out overseas to attend Calzedonia's show, Forever Together, and was joined by other notable names like model Poppy Delevingne, a modestly dressed Ke$ha, and, new to the model scene, Ireland Baldwin for the fashionable night out.
Before popping up in Italy, Sarah Jessica spent quality time with her girls at home in NYC. On Monday, she shared sweet hugs with her twin daughters, Tabitha and Loretta Broderick. They were back together following SJP's trip to Toronto earlier this month, when she was on hand to launch Target's first Canadian store with the help of Blake Lively.
Leave it to Ke$ha to arrive in a whimsical beauty look on the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet. Clad in a powder-blue suit, matching top hat, and a gold-plated tooth, the singer finished off her playful ensemble with wavy strands, bright pink lipstick, and a pair of jewel-encrusted, star-shaped shades. Willy Wonka would be proud.

Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys, and Ke$ha showed their holiday spirit at KIIS-FM's Jingle Ball in LA last night. The Nokia Theatre housed the annual event, with a star-studded performance lineup that featured Justin, Flo Rida, The Wanted, and Psy. We caught up with Flo Rida as he headed inside, and he revealed he planned to pump himself up to take the mic by doing a few push-ups. After walking the red carpet, Alicia Keys made a surprise appearance on stage.
Justin belted out his hit single "All Around the World," then flashed his abs for fans during "Baby." Before his revealing performance, Justin was reportedly holding hands with Selena Gomez. Between his on-again girlfriend's company and a strong performance, Justin later tweeted about the Jingle Ball's being a "great show."
The American Music Awards went down in LA on Sunday night! Usher opened a show that went on to feature many performances from some of the biggest stars in the music industry. Gwen Stefani and the guys of No Doubt put on a show, as did Kelly Clarkson and Ke$ha. Taylor Swift performed her soon-to-be-released single "I Knew You Were Trouble." She changed out of the gold Zuhair Murad number she wore on the red carpet and into two elaborate costumes. Justin Bieber hit the stage too for a rendition of his songs "As Long as You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat." Pink put on an acrobatic, energetic performance, and Christina Aguilera wore a tiny costume to sing a song of her own.
As for the awards, Taylor and Justin were big winners. After arriving with his mom, Pattie Mallette, as his date, Justin picked up an early honor for best pop or rock male artist. He was also recognized with favorite pop/rock album and, right at the end of the show, artist of the year. Taylor, meanwhile, was crowned favorite female country artist. Further honors went to best new artist Carly Rae Jepsen and favorite country band Lady Antebellum. Carrie Underwood also has a new statue to celebrate with, having won best country album — check out the full list of American Music Awards winners!
A red carpet always calls for amped-up glamour, but the eyelashes at the 2012 American Music Awards were above and beyond. With loads of mascara and plenty of false lashes thrown in for good measure, three ladies made this look something to talk about. Always one for over-the-top style, Nicki Minaj donned heavy top lashes that brought a seductive edge to her appearance. Taking the mod look to modern times, Ginnifer Goodwin exaggerated her bottom lashes by clumping them together and adding multiple coats of mascara. And Ke$ha kept things even more alluring with fanned-out lower lashes that you could see across the room.
To nail the trend, reach for a lengthening mascara, such as Benefit They're Real! Mascara ($23), or pick up a pack of individual lashes, like these ones from Make Up For Ever ($16). Whichever method you choose, you'll be sure to make a showstopping statement.
Is that you, Ke$ha? The singer strutted the red carpet of the American Music Awards looking strikingly different. With her cascading blond curls and pretty pink makeup palette, Ke$ha appeared as though she had just stepped out of an Old Hollywood movie. Even her signature inky black liner was toned down and pretty; it swung out into a wing and was complemented with spindly lower lashes. This is a completely different look for the "Tik Tok" singer, but what do you think of her transformation?
