Last night, Madrid played host to the 2010 MTV EMAs, and the evening brought out plenty of celebrities in their edgiest, flashiest gear. The looks last night were fun, a little crazy, and unabashedly campy. So be sure to check out the show's biggest beauty moments now.
Katy Perry and Russell Brand made their debut as husband and wife last night at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid. They headed to Europe after wrapping up their honeymoon in the Maldives and ceremony in India. Newlywed Katy was among the many gorgeous ladies on the red carpet who chose pink lipstick, which she paired with a sparkly movie ticket dress. Katy's most noticeable accessory as she posed with her husband was her brand-new diamond covered wedding ring. She played host at the event last year, but yesterday Eva Longoria had a ton of fun taking over the job.
Katy shared the stage with pal Rihanna, who recently admitted to feeling terrible about missing the Brand-Perry wedding due to her responsibilities promoting her upcoming album Loud. Shakira was on the long list of performers, and she showed off her iconic abs in a small top. Taylor Momsen brought along her band The Pretty Reckless, while Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, and Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars added some testosterone to the show — there was also a whole lot of skin on display, including from a leotard-wearing Miley Cyrus. Ke$ha may have woken up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy, but she looked way more like some kind of post-apocalyptic glamazon on the red carpet. With graphic swoops of black eye makeup, a super long messy braid, and some major volume at the crown of her head, there's no doubt she had heads turning. Ke$ha is no queen of subtlety — pile it on seems to be her philosophy. So it's no shock that the latest ensembles she wore to Casio's Shock the World 2010 event in NYC were all in-your-face. Still, pulling off three crazy outfits in one night must have taken a lot of work! The first outfit, a ripped-up Colt tee, is from the press conference. The second, a one-shouldered LBD and blue lipstick, she wore on the red carpet. And the third, shiny lace and fishnet tights and combat boots, she rocked while performing on stage. All signature Ke$ha, but which outfit is most outrageous?
The MuchMusic Awards went down in Toronto last night, and many of Hollywood's hottest young stars made the trek northward to hit the red carpet. Kellan Lutz broke from promoting Calvin Klein underwear to join his Eclipse costars Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel. Ashley was casual when she took off from LAX on Thursday, but she was all decked out in sparkles to pose with her boys. Katy Perry showed some skin in a revealing dress, while her fiancé Russell Brand was across the ocean in England with Jonah Hill promoting Get Him to the Greek. Justin Bieber mingled with his friend Drake, and Nina Dobrev was the sole actor on hand from The Vampire Diaries.
Miley Cyrus was the show's host, and she even took the stage in her latest minuscule costume to sing "Can't Be Tamed" — what do you think of her look? Justin Bieber was a big winner at the ceremony in his home country, and he won three statues. Katy Perry was back in her candy ensemble to sing "California Gurls," and Kellan Lutz spent some quality time chilling backstage. Even the Jersey Shore crew was represented by Snooki and Pauly D — check out all the winners from Canada's big night!

The 2010 MTV World Stage VMAJ kicked off in Tokyo. Among the Japanese artists to hit the red carpet was sassy American pop singer Ke$ha. She's known to have bolder than bold taste, but this ensemble — or rather, her massive feather headpiece — is way outrageous, even for her. It even makes some of Lady Gaga's hats look tame. To offset the headpiece, Ke$ha opted for a more modern bottom half: a leather jacket, leather leggings, and wooden platform sandals. A peek-a-boo bra effect feeds into her signature sexiness. Is this freaky or do you commend Ke$ha for thinking bold?
