Kiehl's Kicks Off LifeRide to Fight AIDS

In a continuation of its partnership with amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, Kiehl's is going full speed ahead with charity endeavors. This weekend marks the start of the second annual LifeRide, a week-long motorcycle road trip to raise awareness and funds for amfAR. Kiehl's USA President Chris Salgardo will join stars including Jason Lee, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Tyson Beckford on the ride up the East Coast, which begins Sunday and ends Aug. 6. The riders will stop at Kiehl's stores with checks for amfAR totaling $75,000. Check the tour schedule to see when the ride is stopping near you, and you'll receive an in-store 15 percent discount that day. (As if the chance to see Tyson Beckford in the flesh wasn't enough incentive.)

Can't make it to the events but want to contribute to the cause? A motorcycle-themed version of the brand's popular Ultra Facial Cream ($46) will be sold to raise $25,000; buy it on Kiehls.com with the code liferide and you'll score free ground shipping and a week's supply of Creme de Corps lotion — not to mention the good feeling of helping support AIDS research. It's a win-win situation.
