Hand cream is one item I can't live without. In fact, I stock a tube in my purse, on my desk, at the sink in the bathroom, and in every suitcase (just in case). But of all the lotions I have tried, the Keihl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve ($15) is the favorite I return to again and again. There is a moisturizing mix of oils like avocado, sesame, and eucalyptus (which gives it a soft botanical scent). Just a pea-sized amount quickly gets rid of ashy areas and tames cracking cuticles. The tube explains that the formula "helps protect against and repair the appearance of severe dryness caused by heavy industrial work, manual labor, neglect, or exposure to harsh elements." My situation isn't quite that dire, but if it's strong enough for those cases, it goes above and beyond for me. What keeps me coming back is the fact that it doesn't leave grease stains on my electronics after I apply. It's a hand cream worthy of the technological age we live in.
