Many times, when someone comments on what they'd tell their teenage self, it involves laying off the eyeliner, wearing sunscreen, or avoiding another type of major beauty mishap.

We have a feeling that won't be the case for 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.

When you and your sisters are the biggest glamour girls on the planet, with a variety of products and treatments at your fingertips, you'll probably have less regrets than most when you hit 30. Kylie has proven she's a beauty force to be reckoned with, not to be outshone by any of her older siblings. We love that she's not afraid to try out different styles and techniques, and although her lip looks have been the subject of controversy. Still, she advises against crazy challenges and promotes self-fulfillment over blending in with the crowd.

I'm willing to try any Kardashian-approved product, because just look at them, and I was eager to give Nip + Fab's Glycolic Instant Fix Mask ($13) a chance. (Kylie, a brand ambassador for Nip + Fab, names the mask as one of her favorites.) It's made for those of us with oily or combination skin. Amino acids help brighten, and glycolic acid is used to help resurface the skin, so it's great for hyperpigmentation and fine lines. The trademark EverMat technology is what mattifies the skin and helps make pores appear smaller to the eye.

The scent is enough to get me giddy — it smells better than many fine perfumes I've sampled — and I'm always thrilled with the results after letting it sit on my skin. I look effervescent — my skin glowing and luminous, yet somehow matte. After applying to clean skin, let it sit about 10 minutes. You'll feel a slight tingle, and your face may even get a little pink — that's the glycolic acid doing its job. Then rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry, and get ready to gawk at your gorgeous complexion.

Plus, this is one celebrity product that won't make you go broke. Given Kylie's lavish lifestyle full of hair extensions, nails that could cut glass, and designer couture, hearing that her go-to mask is less than $15 was a pleasant surprise!

Then again, what's the saying? Just because it doesn't cost a lot, doesn't mean it's cheap.
