L'Occitane Neroli Eau de Parfum

Ever since I learned all about neroli, I've been intrigued by how special it is. So when I saw that L'Occitane had come out with a Neroli Eau de Parfum last month I got all excited and wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to smell it just yet, but here's what I know.

One bottle of this perfume is made from over 180 pounds of Tunisian Neroli flowers — that's 60 pounds of neroli in each ounce. The aroma starts off light and flowery and then becomes warmer, more intense and it has even been described as sensual. Rrrowl. It's available only in a 2.5 oz bottle that sells for $65. Is this scent something you think you'd like to try?

i received this as a gift last year or so, and ohmigah its the most amazing perfume ever. i'll admit it can be somewhat strong, but it lasts for literally 2 days(if you don't shower). When you smell it out of the bottle its overpowering and way too strong, but put on one spray and it smells like sex and magic. :) sensual is definitely a word to describe this perfume. I've been looking for a cheap alternative to this, and i think i'm going to take candace's advice and go today to try out the neroli jasmine stuff at the body shop. if you have the extra $65, definitely buy this. after trying it on of course.

--- CharSugar, it IS a new perfume. L'Occitane has two Neroli perfumes now the old one (the one you know) and the new one in the Quatre Vents scent series which is the one on the picture. They smell very different though they are both Neroli. The reason for this is that the other notes in the perfume besides Neroli are different.

Love Neroli, but its not new. The packaging is. The fragrance has been a fall/winter staple of mine for more than a year now. Its a little strong on the floral side at first. The dry down is what sealed the deal for me. Its warm and amber-y without being too much.

I'd have to stop into one of their stores and smell it first...it sounds nice though. L'Occitane makes great products...someone made me a gift basket of their products as a wedding shower gift and I love them.

locctaine usually has original combinations and it's packaging is so pretty. however, they usually have very strong aromas. i may need to sample this first.

I have a neroli scented lotion and shower gel, and it's AWESOME. I love it. If you want a cheaper way to check out neroli, the Body Shop makes Neroli Jasmine stuff - that way you aren't paying as much and you can see if the scents wear well on you :) I know I love it so I may be purchasing this in the near future...after I get Coco Mademoiselle and Daisy :)

L'Occitane has some of the most luxurious lotions and soaps I've ever tried! I always love how the scents are so classy. Never over powering. So - YES! - I would love to at least smell this new perfume. Little pricey, but a sample is in my future for sure!
