Lady Gaga's long-anticipated music video for "Alejandro" debuted this morning, and it's a much different take on the song than most people expected. Set in a dystopian world where Gaga is (naturally) queen, there are a ton of hot dudes, and all the awesome experimentation with makeup and costuming you'd expect. Which look is your favorite? Well Gaga does it again! I do find some of the underlying messages in the video uncomfortable to watch but the presentation is brilliant. She looks stunning throughout the video, but I love the goggle helmet and hooded cape look the best.

okay, 1) i don't think gaga's an ugly duckling. her face has some really beautiful qualities. it's all in the eye of the beholder i guess. 2) her aesthetic taste is really incredible and specific. i find i really enjoy it the more i watch it. which sorta horrifies me because i'm not into pop. but there it it. 3) and finally, as a teacher, it horrifies the shyte out of me that this stuff is out there for any of my k-8 students to watch. and my 8th graders idolize her. this is SO not for young kids. you know you're getting old when you start saying "wtf is society coming to???" but i'm not sure any parent can completely block the ways kids have to access her stuff. for kids, this is totally and utterly WRONG. okay, now that i sound like a freakish prude from fkg h*ll, that's all....

Shes a victim of her own stupidity. All the themes in this video contradict one another. And are truly offensive. Shes making reference to the army, and soldiers being gay in secret.

Wow- Gaga is pretty great but, with all due respect, shes not an innovator. This video is almost a replica of Madonnas, Express Yourself. Youtube it. This video, and song, are amazing.

I don't think the images jive with the music, but i like the images, and i like the music, so it works out in the end. There is something of a disconnect though.
