For those of you who were stoked about the possibility that Lady Gaga would be getting her own scent, I hate to crush your excitement. It looks like the buzz circulating around earlier this week — that the songstress was developing a scent with Coty — was actually just a rumor.

"I know nothing of this project," Coty's Steve Mormoris told WWD. Gaga may have a lipstick named after her, but it looks like we'll just have to wait and see if she'll eventually become part of the ever-growing celebrity fragrance brigade.
