Lady Gaga's New Purple and Pink Hair

Lady Gaga pulled a Cory Hart while in Tokyo this weekend, pulling out her sunglasses in the dark of night. It's not as though she didn't want to be noticed, though; if the spiked bracelets and leopard-print underpants weren't enough of a look-at-me getup, her new multihued hairstyle certainly is. It's a little bit Jem, a little bit My Little Pony, and a whole lot of fun.

OK, so not everyone can (or will want to) pull off this look. The cotton-candy colors might not be for, say, someone who works in corporate law — but a streak or two of color could liven up your locks for a night out with the girls. If you don't want to make a permanent commitment à la Gaga, buy inexpensive clip-in blond extensions, then dye them with Manic Panic in Mystic Heather and Cotton Candy Pink. In they go for a party, and out they come when you want a more subdued hair color. For what it's worth. I recommend wearing pants when leaving the house, too. But maybe I'm a prude like that.
