I use 2 different brushes...paddle to start with the drying process (the flat brush seems to do a faster job of getting my hair dry, and it helps with flyaways), then I finish it off with the round brush. I've actually started just heating the round brush with my hairdryer then using it to just curl my ends...does the job!
1Whenever I use a round brush, it makes my hair poofier than usual. I love my Paul Mitchell paddle brush. It could easily be used as a styling brush if I happen to be lazy that day.
2I have been typed as a 3C/4A hair type so I usually just use a smoothing brush with natural boar bristles to smooth my frizz prone hair into a ponytail.
3Only thing that works for me is a paddle brush. I have tons of super-coarse hair so it's the only thing that can handle it all.
4This is helpful and has made me realize I probably need a paddle brush.
5I miss my paddle brush...
6I'd really like to know what a boat bristle brush will do for me.
My boyfriend wanted to get me a Mason Pearson brush for my birthday but I refused since it's $$$ and I'm not sure if it' worth the money. Any one have ideas??
