In a sea of standard smoky eye/nude lip combinations at the Teen Choice Awards last night, two women stood out from the rest. First, Lea Michele walked the red carpet wearing shimmery green eye makeup. Then, later in the evening, Leighton Meester appeared at the show wearing this blue shade to accentuate her upper lash line. • "For her eyes we wanted a celestial glow with a smidge of an edge," Stern said of Leighton's palette. First, Stern created a base on Leighton's lids with NARS Cream Shadow in Corfu ($22). Then, she applied Shu Uemura P Gold 94 ($25) on top.
• Next, Stern added the silver glitter shade from RMK to the inside of Leighton's lids and under the outer edges of the eyes.
• To finish off the style, she lined the top lids and under the eye with CoverGirl LiquiLineBlast Eyeliner in Blue Boom ($7). Two coats of brown mascara on the lashes completed the look.
