For her Spring 2014 collection, Lela Rose's inspiration came from the architecture of Arne Jacobsen's swan chair, which translated to bold colors on the makeup and a structural updo. "We wanted to design the hair with structure but keep it soft at the same time," said lead stylist Ted Gibson for Beauty.com. The top of the head was kept sleek, while the updo was textured and wispy with pieces of gold leaf dusted on the strands.

Makeup artist Romy Soleimani, using Stila for Beauty.com, stuck with the ethereal vibe using contrasting chartreuse on the lids and a pop of pink on the lips. "I'm definitely seeing acid-y colors for Spring," she said. "Whether it be greens, pinks, or oranges." And the nails also had a pop of color in the form of soft blue. Katie Hughes for Beauty.com used Butter London Lady Muck ($15) to create two nail looks. One with a top coat for a velvet finish, while a second look featured a blue moon to create "floating nail art."
