Lierac Sensory Water Review

Remember Your Teenage Fruity Body Spritz? This Is the Grown-Up Version

Most perfumes gave me a headache until I got a whiff of the Lierac Paris Sensorielle Water ($40). You might liken this eau de toilette to the body spritzes from your teenage days, but the scent, a floral blend of gardenia, camellia, and jasmine notes, calls to mind a luxurious Chanel suit rather than fruit salad. Argan, hazelnut, sweet almond, and grape seed oils are also included on the ingredient list, but this "sensory water" doesn't leave a greasy residue on your skin. The fragrance will last all morning (even through the subway schlep) without surrounding you in an overperfumed cloud, and slowly fade in the afternoon.
