This time, she retained her blonde and black curls, but added in some sleek bangs and a few choppy pieces to frame her face. (Makeup-wise, she keeps things low-key — a smart idea when your hairstyle is bound to grab attention.) The teenage rapper always takes risks on the red carpet, and this time is no exception. Definitely not one of her best looks. I usually like the risks that Lil Mama takes on the red carpet, because it is interesting while suiting her cool attitude. But I think this look definitely is a step back, into a different era maybe. The curls have got to go.
