Look of The Day: Extended Winter

Congrats to whiplashgirlchild on her fab Look of the Day. Even though the calendar says that it's Spring, the weather is still quite chilly. It even snowed yesterday where she lives! The silver lining in this cloud is that she gets to rock her new fringe-alicious suede boots. I don't know girl, you look great but I am hoping that it warms up soon!

Whip I think you look awesome in this outfit! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are fat because you aren't. I love that top and that color blue. I personally wouldn't have picked out those boots because they aren't my style but you are rockin' them and they really complete the outfit. Overall I give it 5 out of 5 stars; everything looks perfect together.

Whip, I think your outfit is SOOOO cute and super creative! And, I personally LOVE wearing long sleeves under short sleeves. For me doing that DOUBLES the use of your cute tunic. I'm short too & I've always been scared to wear my jeans tucked into my boots...I try it all the time & then untuck them before I leave my house, but after seeing how cute you look (and I think we prob have similar body types) I will definitely try it & post my look for you to see! : h u g :

Hurray for short girls! You know, I'm not always that interested in "dressing taller". I have no problem being short. That's a self-esteem issue that society keeps trying to sell me at a greatly reduced rate and I'm just not interested. There are entire countries of people who do not consider being a skosh over 5' a problem. Sometimes I just want to wear clothes that I like without having to be mindful of whether or not it makes me look taller. I mean, what's it buying me? Someone will think I'm actually 5'3" instead of 5'2"? Oh hurray.

Whip, you may be short, but you certainly are not fat! Good grief. Never lose that positive attitude: you created the look and you feel good about yourself in the outfit (as well you should) and that's what matters above all else. I love the blue and black combo--and the boots. If only I had such a pair to wear in the snow that we're getting in the East! You rock!
