Love It or Hate It? Blunt, Angular Hair at Akiko Ogawa

Akiko Ogawa is a Japanese designer known for her high-end dresses, and this weekend, she's known for having some of the more unusual hairstyles on her runway. I didn't make this show, but the hair was so different from everything else I've seen that I wanted to get your opinion. I think it's artsy and high-concept, so it works on the runway. But in real life, I'll take a pass.

This reminds me of my cousins hair in the early 90s. She has curly hair and it was cut in a short blunt shape and it was a triangle. Not a good look at all, runway or not.

We used to make fun of a girl with a bad haircut (and perm) like that in Junior high. Kids are mean.

For artistic purposes, I love it--cool for Asian twist. After all, that's part of the sell on the runway is concept/creativity. Many runway looks are very theatrical/fantastical anyway. As for reality, no thanks! I too hope her hair isn't fried!!
