Is Ellen Pompeo channeling Amy Winehouse? Let's see: Poufy hair? Check. Cat-eye liquid eyeliner? Check. But that's where the similarities end (and really, I see more Morrissey in that hair than anything else). I'll have to ask Fab what's up with that curtain-tassel necklace, but for now, I'll ask you: How do you think Ellen's hair and makeup look here?

It's almost like if you crossed Morrissey with Flock of Seagulls(sort of) and then Amy Winehouse(the eyes), and topped it off with a necklace that looks like something that should be hanging off of a pillow or some drapes.

I am actually waaaaaaaay more appalled by the makeup. The hair has the "creative expression" excuse, but there is no excuse for cakey AWFUL makeup.

I know that she tries to be a little edgy, but that is a fine line to walk. She should pay attention to Cate Blanchett, who is great and being edgy and pretty. Also, Ellen Pompeo tends to look old to me- she needs her makeup to be more radiant, not so flat- might look more youthful with a little glow.

she really has horrible hairstyles almost every time she's at an awards show... needs to get a new stylist or something, ecccck!
