Love It or Hate It? Ellen Pompeo's SAG Look

While she's made some more daring makeup choices in the past, Ellen is playing it safe with elegant hair and subtle colors this time around. I like her updo because it has a looseness to it, which keeps her hairstyle from being too severe. What do you think of this look on her?

Hmm..Mascara is too thick and heavy, eyeshadow reminds me of something a senior wears to look younger and lips need a punch. She looks like she's 40-something here.

Love the dress, but not so much the make up. When she was being interviewed, it looked like she needed to refresh her lipstick.

I think she looks beautiful. The make up makes her look younger than some of the experimental daring looks. I love the hair. And, badkitty, I'm pretty sure she doesn't smoke, she has asthma, as far as I know.

The makeup is WAY to heavy; it is all settling into her fine lines. I'm all for having fine lines and not getting botox however her makeup either wasn't applied lightly or her primer was junk. Also she needs either a good facial peel or a small amount of luminizer mixed with foundation and applied lightly to cheekbones, etc..., because her skin seems very dull.

everything about this look ages her. the brows are harsh, the eyeshadow colors make her look tired and draw attention to fine lines, and the hair looks sloppy rather than soft and pretty.
