Love It or Hate It? Gong Li's Conical Updo

Curse of the Golden Flower star Gong Li showed up at the Cannes Film Festival with a very bold updo. Though it looks like it would be heavy, I really like this look — sort of an Eastern-influenced beehive. What do you think?

Aww this photo makes me sad. Gong Li is so beautiful, but the way her hair looks in the photo is the reason why I never put my hair up :) IMO the photo is at a bad angle and doesn't do her justice!

I actually like it....BUT I don't feel that it goes well with her dress or with the ocassion. Also, did she pack a few pounds or is this just a bad pic?

I don't like it. I think if it were flat in the front, it would look better. There's just something off about it.

I love her outrageous outfit and hair. In hollywood there are always people who end up using stylists and looking like drones so to see someone with flair is nice!
