Love It or Hate It? Guyliner

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz is known for his pop hooks and good looks—and for wearing eyeliner, too (all right, and for dating Ashlee Simpson). My friends and I disagree over whether men look cheesy or hot when they wear makeup. So I want to know what you think: Does guyliner work, or is it corny?

There are guys who can pull it off well (like Pete Wentz) and then there are those who can't (Marilyn Manson?) . Most people think that guyliner is a fashion taboo. Maybe it is. But so was women wearing jeans in the 1950's. Yet here we are. Women wear jeans. All the time. It's sexist to say that men can't wear make up.

it depends on who u r like pete wentz it doesnt look right but on jared leto it looks sexy u can only pull off guyliner if u look good with it and without it

I think it works for some guys if they don't totally put it on overkill like Pete. I don't HATE guyliner.

My hate for guyliner is beyond explanation! I'm sorry Pete!! I totally LOVE you, but lose the liner! It just doesn't work for ANYONE! You pull it off fine, but still. NO!!!

Very very not hot. I don't wear makeup.. If a guy wears more make up than I do, does that make him more feminine? I don't like the guyliner

Depends how much is put on. It looks fine on Pete Wentz sometimes, I think hes adorable most of the time.

I have to admit, as much of a purist as I am, some guys kinda look good in eyeliner. It's not my style, but if a guy can rock it, so be it.

Usually I would have to say neigh to this madness but, honestly I think it depends on the guy. Not on my guy (if I had one) but, on the rocker type I think it goes with the whole 80's Rock Revival that is going on right now!

I don't like the guy-liner on this guy in particular. But Ozzy has always looked pretty cool wearing it. And shoot, Johnny Depp is downright YUMMY (whether he wears it or not).
