Hayden Panettiere is becoming quite the activist these days! First it was dolphins in Japan, and now she's helping to raise awareness on commercial whaling alongside environmentalist John Kerry. Of course, being the star she is, she arrived looking positively glamorous. What do you think of her look? Lovely as always, or a little over-the-top for a somewhat political event?

Hayden looks gorgeous! She's amazing for Bringing more awareness to the endangered Whales and Dolphins. People shouldn't be allowed to HARM these magical Mammals. Save the whales & Dolphins! They are important part of our environment.

Just because you want to help conserve, preserve and promote awareness for a specific cause doesn't mean you have to look disheveled or like a "normal" person might. If her stylist did her up for this event than that would be one thing... She just looks like a pretty, sweet girl that wants to support her cause. I don't think there is anything wrong with that- It's not like when Naomi Campbell did her community service in designer boots and shades... Talk about tacky!

She looks kinda old. She's so young and has a fresh, spunky personality. I don't think that come thru with this look. And yes, I know that she's doing very adult work and all I just don't think her personality can't be shown.
