Love It or Hate It? Helena Bonham Carter's Deconstructed Updo

Here's Helena Bonham Carter at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She's sporting a deconstructed updo, with ribbons intermixed with her wild curls. I don't think everyone could pull off this unconventional look, but I think it fits Helena's quirky personality well (and it makes me think of Hamlet's Ophelia). What's your opinion?

I just have to say that I adore her and her work. The thing that I do love about this hairdo is that it demonstrates her eccentricity and the fact that she is more concerned with the quality of her work than making the best dressed list. Honestly, I think she looks beautiful no matter what, and on top of that she is one of the best actresses out there.

I think that she's the only person that could pull that hairstyle off! If anyone else dared to attempt to, it would look horrible. And I do agree with Sassette..it would've looked better if it weren't so frizzy. But it looks sunny out there, so it could've been humid, making her curly hair frizz. Still..gel, mousse, anything to make the frizz go away! And I agree with TheMissus also, this is who Helena is. I couldn't have said it better myself :)
