Love It Or Hate It? Jodie Kidd's Elle Style Look

Smoky eyes are the go-to choice of celebrities these days, as model Jodie Kidd shows at last night's Elle Style Awards. Her eyeliner is intense, but is it too much? I think toning down the makeup would let us focus on her beautiful eyes, not just on what's adorning them. And with such a sexy, wild hairstyle, the simpler route might have been more balanced. What do you think? Too much, just right, or not enough?

i don't care much for it. i used to think that she was really pretty - but in that picture she just looks tired and worn out - i don't know if it's the picture or what...but the eye liner does not help.

emo_stacer, she was a not-quite-supermodel back in the 90s, right around the time of the neo-waifs like Shalom Harlow, Kirsty Hume, and Amber Valletta. She was super, super, super thin and tall, so she fit right in with that look. I think she might be an equestrienne too, and/or some kind of British nobility, but I'm not sure on that.

I've never liked very heavy, dark eye makeup on blondes. It always looks trashy to me. And she's gone way downhill since her modeling days in the 90s...
