Love It or Hate It? Miley Cyrus Meets a Lot of Eyeliner

Before performing last night, Miley Cyrus hit the red carpet. Would you believe this girl is only 15? Looking at her heavy eyeliner and sculpted eyebrows, I'd never guess it—the makeup makes her look a few years older, with a bit of a Megan Fox thing going on.

Sure, she looks polished and grown up, but a less dramatic look might be more appropriate for her age. Or am I being a fuddy-duddy? You tell me, then check out this oddball Hannah Montana cover for a baffling laugh.

Miley looks great with eyeliner (that much) on. She is young but that's how us teen girls do our makeup nowadays. I'm 17 and I actually like putting lots of eyeliner on, only cause I like it and I think it looks pretty. My point is: I Love it!

I think she's bEaUtIfUl....I don't think it's big deal at all...and she's a great role model for kids, my family loves her as Miley and Hanna Montana. I know there's other teenage celebrities who are doing "way more" than just putting dark eyeliner on, if you know what I mean!!

ok half the people in this world are sounding soo stupid right now...first of all the black makes her eyes look incredible! second of all you should go take a little walk to a highschool with 15 year old girls you will see tons of pretty smart freshmen girls waering "too much" eyeliner..hey did you ever think that thats just how our generation likes to wear our makeup..ok so just shut up and go back to work..actually just go upstaitrs for dinner becuse most of you are losers living with you parents and your mom made fish sticks tonight!!yumm!

I love the look (make-up, hair, and outfit) but think it's a bit too much for a 15-year-old, regardless of the (rare) occasion. I never played with make-up at 15, and the 15-year-olds I knew back then that wore make-up didn't paint their faces to this extreme. At least she doesn't wear this type of make-up and clothing too often. (I hope this doesn't become a common trend for her.)

I think she looks great! As someone else said, she doesn't wear make up like this everyday. It was a red carpet appearance, so I think once in a while it can be fun. Make up SHOULD be fun...not something that is taken too seriously. I think she looks great, and as long as she isn't wearing this look to school, it is fine.

It's totally fine to experiment with heavy makeup and light. She may not have pulled this one off but it's okay she's still uber pretty!

I'm fine with the eyeliner, but I think it's the combination with her lipstick and hairdo that really ages her. I would have gone for a transparent, shiny gloss instead of this lipstick for a younger/less sophisticated look. Also, I'd have picked softer locks or an updo - the hair in itself is nice, but I feel the combination of the two looks a bit trashy for someone so young. :)
