Love It or Hate It? Revlon Nail Lace Appliques

Revlon has a new line of "lingerie-inspired appliqués " called Nail Lace ($4.95 for 60), which stick on top of your polish. I keep going back and forth on whether I think they are cute or just tacky. What do you think?

I think the ones in the pic look pretty because they're photoshopped so much they almost just look like glitter (which everyone loves!). I think the real deal -which is little flowers- would just be tacky. Prolly a hot item for the tweens.

I hate nail art on finger-nails... but I tend to think it is cute on toe-nails. Something simple and quirky.

I think it would be pretty for a wedding, but everyday office use, it is a little too much.

I like it, but if I did that with my nails I'd look like I just got done priming my bathroom walls. I have shaky hands.

i think it's cute! but then again, i did put rhinestones on my big toe one summer... hahaha it was a fun change!

I think they look great on the light pink color and are perfect for a special occasion.

It looks pretty on the model featured, but I wouldn't do it personally. Maybe only on my big toe or toes in general, but not on my hands. I like natural fingernails or a tasteful french manicure, but I love bright or unusual colors on my toenails. Shiny silver is my favorite for summer.

I'm NO fan of nail art, but I actually think these are kinda pretty. don't think I'd actually wear them myself though....

I saw someone who had put one on her ring finger for her wedding. It was so the groom, who was extremely nervous, would remember exactly what finger to put the ring on...it was cute!! It looked like lace and was white on top of a french manicure...

They're VERY popular here in Tokyo! Most young women who do anything with their nails take the extra step of decorating them. Or they leave their nails completely bare. Using only a single color of nail polish doesn't look elegant, it just seems a little lazy.

Its subtle so I think it looks nice on pastel nails as long as they are short or shorter in length. When designs are on long nails then it can look tacky.

I think that if I did it myself it would look tacky, but I think that if a profesh did it, like I got it done during a manicure, then it would have a chance of looking unique and not tacky.
