Love It or Hate It? Rihanna Lengthens Her Hair

The first Allure of 2008 features Rihanna as its cover girl. In the interview, she explains that she chopped her hair into a bob without her label's permission:

"The label didn't want me to do this look. But cutting my hair, it made me stand out as an artist. I don't care who likes it — this is me."

Or, to be more precise, it was her. The singer stepped out in London yesterday with soft, wavy, and longer locks. What do you think of this new hairstyle?

I like this softer look. Truth is she has such a striking face she'll get noticed no matter what her hair is like. Its a lovely change though.

The bob is an older look for her...but, like it says, she cut without permission...The record label owns her image. Stars have all kinds of body parts insured, and for all we know her hair is part of her package. I personally don't care what she does with her hair, but then, I'm not profiting from her image either.

Looks good and fits the image they want for her. Long hair must sell better. Swinging a bob isn't quite the same effect as long bouncy hair. I want my long hair back : (

It was a change because I'm so used to seeing the bob, but I like it. She always looks good.

I like it this length. However, I don't have very much respect for her if she says she's going to defy her label for a certain look because it embodies who she is, but then changes it back, immediately contradicting herself. Then again, maybe she just needed a change.

I don't like Rhianna, but I do like her new hair. The bob just made her forehead look bigger. A lot bigger. I definitely agree with those of you that say bangs. Girlfriend needs them.
