Love It or Hate It? Sarah Jessica Parker's Covet Commercial

Now that Sarah Jessica's Covet is in stores, the marketing blitz has gone full-tilt. Here's a short, cheeky little commercial set in Paris (which, of course, reminds me of the finale of SATC... sigh.) Whatcha think?

I like it. She reminds me of her character in Hocus Pocus. Even though the commercial is a little cheesy, It reveals the desparate fashionista hiding inside most of us. I know I've felt criminally desparate for a certain purse, perfume...most likely a pair of shoes before! Though I've never pursued it. ;-)

i thought this was wonderful, very clever, tongue in cheek. and she actually looks beautiful. i don't know what it is that they do with makeup and lighting, but sjp never looks that good.

I don't like it and especially her makeup in the commercial. She looks like an old witch.

I love it! the fashion and the setting is gorgeous and yah she's a little bit crazy.. but it's cute.. and works well with the name of the parfume. On the website there's a contest that goes with the comercial, so it makes more sense I think.. if you read the story and contest rules on the website.

I thought it was a cute commercial but I agree with the STC similarities1. Gorgeous vintage dress...Check2.Scene set in Paris....Check!!3. Laboutins....Check!!I love it all the same and Covet has a beautiful smell.
