Love It or Hate It? Tom Ford For Men Campaign

We've already seen a few ads for Tom Ford For Men, the new fragrance that hits Saks on September 24. As it turns out, those were the tame ones! Tom and photographer Terry Richardson saved their raunchiest photos for the website, where you can see some ads that are definitely not safe for work. What do you think of this campaign? Is it sexy, as Tom claims, or tacky? (I bet you can guess what I think.)

Tacky. It isn't bad enough that young girls don't think they're sexy unless their figures resemble those of boys, now we have this ad featuring a very slim HAIRLESS person (we don't really know if that's a woman, now, do we?), which is bordering on pandering to pedophiles. Adults have hair. It is a fact of nature. Only children are naturally hairless. VERY uncool.

Why do women care about advertising like this? Because the way women are presented in the media reflects on societal ideas of women. I like a lot of Tom Ford's scents, but I don't like this ad.

Is this not a mens cologne?? so why would women care how it is advertised, it is obvious that this ad campaign would most definitely encourage men to buy the cologne. I do understand why the ladies would not like the campaign but you cannot deny how wonderful the scent is.

Tom Ford fragrances are pretty classy, why would they do an ad like this? It's not classy at all. In fact it's pretty tasteless!

I actually find this ad disturbing, and I wouldn't buy the perfume considering that this ad makes it seem like the perfume would smell like you know what.

So is this ad telling us that this cologne smells like freshly-shaved vagina? Because any man with a girlfriend could wear that for free. :-p I wouldn't want a guy who was attracted to this ad - and don't women usually buy cologne for men? Most women appear to find this gross. It seems to be appealing to sleazy guys. Ick.

What the hell tom ford? This is bad. He's done risky before, but that is vulgar and damnnnn wrong. If you haven't seen the M7 ad with the male genitalia showing...this is almost up there with it. If your a straight guy, why would you want to see another guys package in an ad? So this must be the alternative for straight guys to buy it.
