At M. Patmos, Fresh Faces Are the Focus

For her third solo collection, knitwear designer Marcia Patmos whipped up a neutral palette of taupe, silver, and ivory — with a little sheen thrown in for good measure. That's what inspired MAC makeup artist Gregory Arlt to create a look that he described as a "late '60s, California Dreamin' vibe." The secret behind creating the look's glowing complexion? Highlighters. On top of a sheer base of MAC Face and Body Foundation, Arlt applied a mix of MAC's Cream Colour Bases in Fawntastic and Pearl to the cheekbones and cupid's bows of the models. A little bit of MAC blush in Margin, a peachy hue, added warmth. "It's uber-fresh," Arlt said before the presentation. "It's like the A-plus version of yourself." Talk about making the grade.
