Queen Madge isn't one to be off trend, and tonight was no exception. I love her pulled-back pouf — it reminds me of Catherine Deneuve's hair in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Unlike a lot of red carpet denizens, though, she kept her eyes sexy, with a classic Cleopatra line past the outer edges. Her peachy pink lip color was also the perfect shade for rosy, pale girls who have a hard time with the nude lip trend.

I'm not a huge Madonna fan but it never ceases to amaze me how cruel people can be to aging Women. I've heard Madonna be called an old hag, referred to as Grandma etc. Getting older happens to everyone eventually but people make nasty comments about it. If you're 50 and showing your age it's looked at as a "Failure" on the Woman's part! She gets cosmetic surgery to look younger and that's made fun of too! You can't win. Women should be kinder to themselves and to other Women! If someone doesn't like us getting older "****" them. Take it up with Mother Nature.

She looks great like that, thank God for once she's not trying to look like she's 20 years old! I wish she'd go for similar looks to this one more often and stop trying to look younger, because I think it makes her look older in the end.

ah, i love her, but with the lighting and the widening effects of her hairdo to her cheeks, she reminded me a bit of jocelyn wildenstein......more in the video of her on stage though.
