A lot of winning nail looks came down the Oscars red carpet last night, but Maria Menounos's chevron design was a favorite. Plus, it's chic enough to wear to a fancy gala (hear that bridesmaids?). "Maria’s white Johanna Johnson gown was elegant and understated, so she wanted her accessories to be bold and make a statement," said Katie Jane Hughes, Butter London's global ambassador. "Nails are a really important accessory when it comes to the red carpet, so we decided to play them up with a chic chevron." Here's how you can copy the look at home:

The base of the manicure was a custom mix of colors featuring Butter London Union Jack Black ($15) and Pearly Queen ($15). Using a striping tool, she added a black triangle outline at the tip of the nail. Hughes then filled in the shape with Gobsmacked ($15).
