Mary-Kate rolled up to the Holy Rollers red carpet last night looking straight out of this season's Narciso Rodriguez show with a dirty smoky eye and texturized hair. The look was pretty daring at Fashion Week, and it's even more so on the red carpet, where glamour usually has a prim and pretty aspect. Is Mary-Kate being truly fashion forward and edgy with this look, or does it just not translate from the runway to the red carpet?

I can tell the twins apart now... well since a few years back. MK is always less pulled together and neat with her clothing/makeup. She's not enhancing her beauty, and something seems so much older with her look.

I just want to go on the record that I have no ill feelings towards the twins but I must say in my opinion, she always been looking so sickly. Even when random people ooooh and aaahh over her looks. Plus that duckface is not doing her any favors.

Daring? She looks gross, kind of like a meth addict. Whichever one this is, she needs to be reintroduced to color that isn't puce. And is it just me or is her left eyebrow really uneven?

LIke R14, I think she looks dirty - most of the time. I'd like to see her shower and wear a clean, crisp look - just to be "daring" and "different".

This isn't daring and I'm automatically going to hate anything fashion-related when speaking in terms of the Olsen twins. I do NOT find anything "forward", "innovative", or "genius" about their look. Homeless bums have been pulling the same look for years, why don't they get any credit for being fashion forward?But, I guess to each fashion opinion their own.

This is not "fashion forward." This is "I smudged on a little bland eye makeup and didn't do anything to my hair" a.k.a. "going for the natural look" and it's nothing new.
