She played a tough-as-nails mom with a taste for tight denim skirts in The Fighter, but on the red carpet Melissa Leo brings a more feminine style with her Marc Bouwer floral applique dress. The deep v-neck highlights her decolletage, which she accessorizes with a buggy necklace. To add a little sex appeal, the dress has a high front slit, showing off gold and cream platform sandals. She keeps her makeup natural and pulls her hair in an elegant chignon. Thoughts?

hair, makeup, earrings are perfection. i do like the dress, but i think the sleeves are kinda weird. definitely one of MM's best red carpet looks though.

I've seen the dress before on the runways, but it is stunning and she wears it well. What I don't like is the hair, far too severe for her. The side part isn't flattering and the style needs to be softer.

Is anybody else seeing the same comments under Mandy Moore? Weird. Anyway, I don't have the red carpet on, but perhaps this looks better on tv than in photos? Nevertheless, I'm hoping she gets to get on stage and accept an Oscar! Go Melissa! PS...I want her shoes!
