Last night at the fancy 2008 Costume Institute Gala in New York City, the women arrived wearing fabulous gowns adorned with sensational accessories. Some of their beauty looks were favorable, and some left little to be desired. One of the trends I noticed was the semi-laid-back approach to hair. Don't get me wrong, I am sure every strand was supposed to look like that, but there was a lot more looseness as a collective than I've ever noticed at a red-carpet event. Scarlette and Mary/Ashley? look like sh*t. Scarlet has worn that do before, why would she do this to us again??? I absolutely love Hilary's and Blakes. I love Hil's makeup a lot too.

I like them all except for the Olsen twin. Yikes!! Why doesn't she want to look pretty. She is a cute girl. It is as if she attempts to be unattractive. I don't get it.

I think Hilary looks amazing. I like this look in general. I'm not so into Mary Kate's hair or Scarlett's, but maybe if they were wearing casual outfits I would like them more.

I like them all except for whichever Olsen twin is pictured - her hair looks horrible and her makeup makes her look dead (and about 80). Not attractive.
