Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing a few of my favorite pics from my beach day in San Diego. Plus, to help you get the most out of your next day at the beach, I'm revealing my must-have items for a day of fun and sun! There's nothing better than relaxing on a towel in the sand while listening to the soothing sounds of waves crashing on the shore.

But let's face it — there are a few different elements to keep in mind when heading out for a day at the beach (i.e. wind, water, sand, sun, etc.). If you don't pack accordingly, a fun day can quickly turn into a total bummer. With that said, here are a few of my beach bag essentials. See Michelle's picks when you read more.

1. Sunblock
2. Separate sunscreen for your face
3. SPF lip balm
4. Sunglasses
5. Small, thin towel for your face
6. Hat
7. Scarf
8. Spray bottle to spritz your skin with water
9. Water to drink
10. Large, thick towel
11. Waterproof bag/pouch that fits inside your beach bag
12. Melt-proof snacks
