She may have played a ditz in Mighty Aphrodite, but Mira Sorvino's one smart lady — she graduated from Harvard magna cum laude. So the exposed dark roots she was rocking at the Deauville Film Festival are definitely a style statement, not an accident. What do you think? Are Mira's roots an experimental, sexy red carpet look, or a momentary lapse in beauty judgment?

Just not a fan although maybe she is growing the roots out to ultimately chop off the dye job so she can just be au naturelle?Once grew my ash blonde roots out so that I could chop off the dye (since no dye job can match my natural color) and for about 5 months I had to rock awful roots until my hair was long enough to cut off all the dye work.

You can dye your hair (there are some really gentle ones with vegetable dyes) while breastfeeding so there's really no excuse for this mess. Blech.

First, everyone graduate from Harvard with honors. Second, this "trend" has been on the radar forever it seems. Madonna was doing it forever ago. I hate it, but maybe she is just not colouring due to breastfeeding.

I know she just had a baby a couple of months ago - maybe she's taking some sort of "no haircolor while breastfeeding" stance?

I usually like the grown out roots look but when it seems "natural" kind of like Rachel's hair in friends like in the link below(http://www.e4.com/media/E4DC1E22-6237-4723-ABB2-4429EB92C9AC_extra.jpg) , here it's just too much and it just makes her hair look greasy :s

Hate it. To me it actually looks a bit dirty and greasy. I highly doubt that she had a momentary lapse in beauty judgement. Maybe this is going to be a new trend?
