Mode Lip Glaze Review

I'm in the Mode For Love

1

As someone who's always in the market for lip stuff, I cycle through more than my fair share of gloss and balm, only to end up dissatisfied with most of them after a few days. That's not the case with the wildberry flaver of Mode Lip Glaze ($4). Not only is it good-tasting, but it's cheap, not too glossy or sticky, doesn't dry the lips, and the color is barely-there pretty. It's also made of rather straightforward, simple ingredients: sweet almond oil, peppermint oil, and a run-of-the-mill polybutene lip gloss base.

It does contain propylparaben, so if you aren't OK with this preservative, then you'll probably want to keep looking. Mode bills itself as a more "natural" cosmetics line, and although it's a far cry from something like Nvey Eco or Revolution Organics, it's certainly still a move in the right direction, especially for something so affordable.
