"The detail is a strong, graphic eyeliner that's quite rectangular and elongated," lead makeup artist Val Garland explained. "Since it's such a strong look on the eye, to keep it looking modern, we thought [it was necessary to do] beautiful skin and a natural lip. That keeps it looking street and edgy."

To create the look, she used MAC Blacktrack to make a square shape at the inner corners and continued the line to the outer corners and underneath the eye. She topped the liner with eye shadow in Carbon to give it a fuzzy appearance.
