If it weren't for makeovers, this 1989 flick wouldn't exist. Tony Danza plays an overprotective father whose 15-year-old daughter (Amy Dolenz) changes her look. When she goes from wearing glasses and braces to sporting an unfortunate perm, the boys come a-knockin'.

Why it rules: Before her makeover, Dolenz nails today's hipster-nerd chic trend. The "improved" look is enjoyably geeky to today's viewers. Also, it has Tony Danza. What more do you want?

You've gotta love Princess Diaries... I've been told a million times that I look like Anne Hathaway in that movie... mostly after by my mother (lol) and coughcough sometimes an insult as pre-make over Anne

Glad you enjoyed it! I thought about TDWP and Princess Diaries, but thought Prada was too clothes-focused. PD almost made it but, well, there's room for only 10. It would have been a nice #11!
