Nail Fraud Press-On Nail Art Review

Help! I'm About to Commit Nail Fraud

As a kid, I was obsessed with Lee Press-On Nails. After months of being wheedled, my mother caved and bought a box. My 10-year-old self was giddy, then disappointed by the realization that Mom was right: they really did not stay put, and my dreams fell away with every fake French tip.

Fast-forward a couple of decades, and I'm playing around with Nail Fraud ($10). Similar concept, much better results. Like the Minx one-use manicure, Nail Fraud is essentially a sheet of thin, pre-cut nail stickers. You choose from a variety of patterns, press the appliques onto clean nails, then shape them with an enclosed emory board. The concept is a little goofy, but you know what? They work, and it's much easier to use than the old press-ons of the past.
