Whether it's bold nail art or simple nude, there isn't a talon that heads down the runway untouched. Backstage at New York Fashion Week, top celebrity nail artists are busy starting trends and breaking the manicure mold. These snapshots capture the season's hottest manicure looks that we can't wait to try out at home (including some wild nail art!). Get ready for stripes, ombré, graphics, and plenty of chic metallics!

Delpozo Spring 2015

Bold coral negative-space half-moon manicures created using Essie Tart Deco [2] ($9) complemented the colorful collection at Delpozo.

The Blonds

At The Blonds, models hit the runway in wild nail art designed by CND that included chains, lettering, flowers, and other 3D elements. To go with the "gangsta genie" collection, nails incorporated themes of travel, religious symbolism, Indian jewelry, and chola references. Nails were squared off for a modern West Coast feel.

Erin Fetherston

The clean white manicure with a single gold strip (created by manicurist Gina Edwards for Kiss and Broadway Nails) contrasted the ladylike collection at Erin Fetherston [3].

Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2015

At Bibhu Mohapatra, lead manicurist Gina Edwards for Kiss & Broadway Nails created linear nail art that matched the bold prints featured in the collection.

Betsey Johnson

The embellished 3D manicures at Betsey Johnson [4] put an over-the-top spin on bridal nails.

Rodarte

The cuticle-only style was created by Sally Hansen [5] manicurist Tracylee by painting the entire nail and removing the polish.
