New Hilary Swank Conviction Premiere Picture

Love It or Hate It: Hilary Swank's Emerald Rimmed Eyes

At the premiere of Conviction last night, Hilary Swank traded in her usual pretty but minimalist look for a pop of jewel-toned green all around her eyes. The shimmering shadow/liner she was wearing definitely brought out her brown eyes and brightened up her skin, but it was perhaps somewhat heavy compared with the rest of her makeup. Do you think the look suited Hilary, or would you prefer she stick with subtle and natural?

Needs a darker shade on the corners of eyes and maybe little to no blush, it looks strange with the blue

color is fine but the way it's done narrows her eyes too much would have looked better if it was kept just the outer half or if she'd balanced it out with black liner or white shadow on top to open it up

Too thick, and I think the line needs to be a darker green. Just doesn't work on her. Maybe someone younger?

I agree - I am not opposed to this look on the right person. Hilary just can't pull this off at all. Someone like Rhianna probably could...

I'm really undecided on this look. In theory, I really like it. A little burst of color without being over-the-top. But I don't think I like it on her? Maybe it's what juicebox said and it doesn't go well with the brown eyes.

I think it would look good on someone else, but it doesn't go well with her brown eyes at all.
