Love It or Hate It? Ke$ha's Got the Blues

And not in a B.B. King kind of way. Last night at an event for Casio (purveyors of fine watches to your junior high self), Ke$ha rolled onto the red carpet wearing lots of blue body paint, lipstick, and eye shadow. It was definitely a daring look, but it seems like she's trying a little bit too hard to be seen as that wild and kooky girl. Do you think the unusual coordinating color works, or has Ke$ha brushed her teeth with one too many bottles of Jack?

The blue lipstick just ruins the look for me... the rest of it would be tolerable if her lips were blue

I don't like anything about her "music" or "style". If she's trying to be so different, she should ditch the typical blonde hair and wear a blue mohawk or something. It would look less silly than her experiments with crayons and glitters.

Yea, she should have gone with a different, funky color. And not done the weird paint on her arm. And try to not look like a train wreck

kesha's "different" persona is so contrived. I don't think she even thinks up any of this stuff-- seems like she is just a puppet.

I think blue lipstick is just terrible, no matter how rock 'n roll you're trying to look. There are other fun/whacky colors that work better. Blue lipstick seems to do the same thing that blue lights do-- plays tricks on the eyes and looks blurry.
