Relatively new to La Mer are its three first-ever cosmetic products. The product with heaviest coverage, The Treatment Crème Foundation SPF 15, is intended for dry skin. The Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15, a lighter version of the crème foundation, is meant for for normal to oily skin. Lastly, The Powder has been created with a sheer veil finish to wear alone or to set either of the foundations.
All of the items contain the same antiaging ingredients as the crème, yet also provide coverage to produce a flawless finish! I was really excited to learn about these new products because like most people, I only knew about their skincare.
Also, La Mer has some juicy gossip for you. Apparently the makeup artist for Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, the gorgeous stars of Gossip Girl also use these products on set! I can't wait to try them — are you interested in checking them out, too?
For a detailed description of each of the products, read more
- The Treatment Crème Foundation SPF 15 ($85) is great for hiding and reducing fine lines and redness. It promises to leave skin looking soft, radiant, and even-toned.
- The Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15 ($75) is a lighter, airier textured version of the crème foundation and is suitable for those with normal to oily skin.
- The Powder ($65) is a light finishing powder that has been developed with symmetrically shaped particles for an extremely natural-looking finish. The coverage is translucent, works well on any skin type, and can be worn alone or over either of the foundations.

1duh, nevermind. there they are.
it's been a long day.
2$65+
3Hey, it's the Gossip Girls!
4They thanked God for La Mer in the book, too
Ooh, this just made me excited!
I love La Mer!!
5i have the tinted moisturizer, i think it's breaking me out..BOO!!
6wish i could try it, but i doubt i could ever justify spending that much on foundation when bareminerals is doing just fine..
7I would love to try them but funds are never going to allow for that.
8This line is so overrated.
9I buy the skin care stuff, but I'm dedicated to Trish McEvoy for my make-up. I might try a sample.
10I agree, way overrated. I would never spend that much on foundation.
11i have their tinted moisturizer which i love more than laura mercier's. and a few years ago, la mer actually had a very small cosmetics line which included pressed powders. i bought one in a translucent shade that had very fine shimmer which added just the right amount of sparkle and glow to my face. i get compliments all the time and it's definitely worth the money
12Sadly, I too broke out from the foundation, although it is pretty, I'd like to find out what wa in it to make me break out though.
13it looks really pretty, but dont have the money.
14Man, these look great - super indulgent cosmetics. I don't think I'll be able to afford them though, how about offering these in a giveaway Bella!
15I'll have to get me some of that!
16I probably would, when they have it here in Manila.
17le mer rocks! but respectfully, i bought this foundation over a year ago. it's lovely- as is their loose powder in translucent. it has a slight sparkle. le mer is NOT over rated at all. the products are the BEST- esp. the eye balm and "the concentrate".
18I am excited but $85 for foundation? Wow!
19La mer is an awesome skin-care line and i cant wait to try the tinted mouisturizer w/ the new loose powder!!!
20I used this last year.. meh it's okay. It made me breakout a bit (I used the foundation). I do love the Creme de La Mer and loved it, but it's time for something new.
21I just shell out the money for the actual creme. If there is anything I learned in 25 years of being a female it is this, if you have good skin you can make any makeup look good, and if you have great skin you can just go bare. I definitely spend more money on my skincare than on my makeup.
