At the Intimissimi Fall/Winter 2012 runway show in Italy last night, Olivia Palermo styled her chestnut hair in big, brushed-out waves. Her vintage look was further enhanced by metallic brown eye shadow and liner, a touch of blush on her cheekbones, and a medium-pink lip color.

Olivia's shiny waves are easy to achieve and are perfect for a casual lunch date with friends or a romantic evening out. Begin by parting your hair down the middle. Take a large-barreled curling iron and, working in large sections, curl your hair away from your face. Mist sections with hair spray once you remove them from the heat and repeat the curling process around your entire head. Once your curls are set, use a paddle brush to comb them out into waves.
