Would You Wear These Pedicure Socks?

I just came across these Pedisavers pedicure socks ($16–$20), and I can't stop giggling. The idea is that you put them on before applying polish, so that you keep your legs and feet warm. Additionally, these socks eliminate the need for toe separators. (Are toe separators a big problem that needed to be solved?) I doubt I'd wear these, but for cold-footed pedicure addicts, maybe it's a must-have. What do you think?

really people... they're not intended for wearing in public! You put them on AFTER the massage/soaking part BEFORE the polishing. You then go HOME. No fuzz stuck in the polish - no smears or wrinkles either. No I would not wear them anywhere but out the door of the salon to the car and into my house. But I would wear them for their intended purpose. I do not think I would enjoy driving home with my feet wrapped in saran/oil. gross!

I don't see the need for them. Plus your toes would also get cold as well. I usually wear flip flops.

Okay. But how do they keep your just polished toes from getting hair, dirt etc. on them? They are still exposed...

I'm not saying they don't work...as I wouldn't know since I have never tried them. I'm saying they're not my style, therefore I would never try them. Also, my feet have never been cold before/during/after a pedicure.

Since moving to LA, I have realized that the women there (okay, yes this statement is a wee bit general) live in fear of having their feet being cold, so I can see them using this. Me: "Ummm, so really I thought the Ugg boot thing had died a little bit..except where I'm from, Buffalo, because it's like -20 degrees there?" LA acquaintance: "Nooo way!! If I don't wear these boots, my feet get cold in the air conditioning!! I usually bring an electric blanket with me to class too!! Besides...how can you wear Ugg boots in Buffalo? Won't they get like, wet or something?" Me: "Um, right."

YES!! I never go to the salon for pedicures...i am the diy girl. I kick back and do my mani/pedi with the tv or computer on while they dry. i am constantly trying to position my blankets so they keep my feet warm, but dont smudge my toes - this is exactly what i need!! Dorky...yes, but i think totally useful!

No - I usually do my own pedicure. I enjoy it and wouldn't be caught dead in those things.

I wouldn't spend money on something like that but I do think they'd be useful. You just put them on before you get your toes polished and they keep your feet a little warmer.

oh i would definitely use a product like this. its soo much better than having them saran wrap you feet before putting on your socks and shoes. and that way in the winter, you can have your pedicure and have your feet be warm too!! sure, they are super ugly, but they definitely can come in handy.

Well I could see that they are functional in a sense but I wouldn't pay that much for them. You could cut out your own socks like someone said above or just wear flip flops. I would never wear them with sandals though, maybe with a closed toe shoe. Whenever I get a pedicure, I get some oil put over the polish and around my toes then put saran wrap from around my toes to the ball of my foot. I can pretty much put on whatever shoes I want to and my polish is never smudged. Then when I get home, I take all of that off and walk around with very moisturized bare feet with smudge free polish.
