Normally it's Rihanna's hair style and hair color that changes with great frequency, but last night in London, at the launch of her new album, Rated R, it was all about the eyes. Wearing a bright, cool-toned fuchsia eyeliner on her bottom lash lines, she topped off the look with a contrasting warm gold shadow on the lids and feathery falsies on the top lashes. For a similar funked-up look, try Make Up for Ever's Aqua Eyes in Fuchsia Pink ($17). Hint: you could always line just the top for a more subtle effect. What do you think of Rihanna's hot pink style?

I personally love it. I do this a lot but I usually use aqua or lime green or purple....so now I'll have to try pink. The key is to make the line even, a little on the thin side and blend so it doesn't look like you just took a marker and drew on your face.
1Love it on her but I would look like I had a bad case of conjunctivitis. I do like to do this with bright green or blue though.

11Nope. The whole look - hair, lipstick, lashes, and the liner - are a mess to me. None of it is flattering, objectively.
12I tend to not like red or pink tones near the eye. I would do it with teal or purple in a heartbeat though.

14I think it actually looks really good on her since she has a darker complextion and the rest of her make up is toned down and she has a nudeish lip going on. I admire her for always trying things outside the box!

17I think it would work better in a different color, the pink looks like pink eye.
18Pink on the lower lashes is hard to pull off, I think she does it well.
19I love that colour, especially on darker skins, but AUGH that hair colour is so dreadful, I can't see anything else. That lipstick ain't doing her no favours either.
20You should never put bright pink around your eye area, it makes anyone look sickly and brings out any red in your skin. Love doing purple blue and green liners though!

i don't think there should be rules like "you should never put this color near your eye." people all look different and have different skintones and coloring and there are a million different ways to do it.
i think its pretty on her, esp because of her skin color. not a fan of the top lashes, though. and i love milky lip colors!
25It's pretty, young, fun and she's working it. So yeah, I like it.
