Whether it's framed with a deep side part or worn at the side of the nape, the ponytail is looking decidedly glamorous these days. At a press tour for Eat Pray Love last week, Julia Roberts accentuated her auburn hair with a wavy ponytail tossed to the side. Over the weekend, America Ferrera attended a screening of The Dry Land while sporting a sleek and shiny version. And Jennifer Aniston added style to her ponytail with long, swooping bangs in the front during her recent appearance on The Daily Show. Are you loving it or leaving it?

I noticed this trend too, and love it! I thought my hai was too short to pull it off, but looking at Julia Robert's do, I think I might try it too :-)
I started rocking this accidentally, and now it's totally intentional. Depending on your makeup, outfit, and texture of your hair, I think it's good. This is something I usually do post-gym, so my hair has some more texture to it (sorry, that's gross, but it's true), with a sort of casual-chic outfit and non-outrageous makeup. I can imagine with really neon makeup and posh clothing that this could look strange.
