Drew Ditches the Black Tips

Most of you weren't loving Drew Barrymore's black tips when she debuted them earlier this month, but you have to hand it to the girl. She's definitely someone who can pull off the most extreme of styles. "This is the craziest look I've ever given her!" colorist Tracey Cunningham told InStyle. "I used clear foils and a stencil that I made out of paper to get everything to line up," she added. But, those distinctive black tips didn't last that long. At a press event yesterday for her new film, Whip It, the actress flaunted a shorter, all-blond cropped bob instead. This got me to thinking about my own fickle hair-color choices. I've had blond-streaked bangs one day, only to tint them intense red-violet the next. What about you? Do you tend to stick to one color, or are you more apt to switch it up?

She looks cute both ways, but I like the shorter length better. The way it hits her face.

I am glad she got rid of the black tips - it was a tad too dramatic for everyday wear. I don't think her roots looks bad at all either, especially with such an asymetrical part. I change my color almost every time I get it done (which is about every 10 weeks). Was red in the spring with light blond framing my face, blonde for summer, and now I'm rocking a light brown with blonde lowlighting around the face - just a peep of blonde shows here and there. I think I'll go back to red for the holidays!

I think she looks good with any color. I loved when she had the reddish brown color as much as I love the blonde on her.

I liked her with the tips. It was kooky. :) I tend to stick to the one shade, I'm boring I know.

i know she has recently said she has found a balance of partying and staying in control of her life... but she is really looking partied out lately, i hope she keeps it together.

Why didn't her stylist touch up her roots? it seems like no one in hollywood wants to be arsed to keep up their blonde. It's such an horrific and tragic look.

hottpink - don`t change your haircolor! Red hair and green eyes is the prettiest combination I`ve ever seen! I`m glad Drew ditched the black tips, now she looks gorgeous!

I tend to switch it up. I was blond for about 7 years, then went to a dark brunette and now I'm red. I have bright green eyes so the red goes well but I'm kind of itching to try something else. Any ideas? I'm adventurous!
