Warning: pull out the tissues because you won't be able to watch this video without shedding tears (seriously, we had to pause it a few times to collect ourselves). YouTuber Louise Pentland posted this emotional video about her new cotton-candy pink hair color, which she dyed in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and her personal connection to the disease.

Louise lost her mom to breast cancer at the age of 7. She recounts the two-year battle in this video, from the final family outing to Disney to her mother's last days in hospice. The heartbreaking story puts a face to the cause, which is so important. Often there are many pink products available that give to BCA organizations, but we forget that these are real women fighting for their lives.

"People forget to care about cancer research," Louise said. "But she was a real person — she existed. . . . She loved me, and she cuddled me, and she died knowing she wouldn't see me. If we can find a cure for cancer, people like me won't sit crying into a camera."

Louise shared her experience in order to raise awareness (and money) for research. You can donate to her Just Giving page to help. This is one rainbow hair trend that we can embrace wholeheartedly because breast cancer touches so many women across the world.

"You think that cancer goes when someone dies, but it doesn't; that cancer stays in the family forever," she explained. "Even though I don't have cancer, I still live with cancer because cancer took her. I want to live in a world where I'm not scared of cancer because there's a cure."
